About Marc5Solas
I held out on writing this page as long as I could. I understand why people want to know who's behind the words they read. But the whole point of Marc5Solas is to get out of the way and let the message speak.
This blog exists for one reason: to proclaim the gospel of salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. No denominational tribe. No political axe to grind. No end-time charts or prophecy speculation. Just the simple, disruptive, life-altering news that God saves sinners through the finished work of Jesus.
What you won't find here
- Denominational branding or tribal loyalty tests
- Political commentary or culture-war posturing
- End-time prophecy or speculative timelines
- Healing prayer cloths for sale — or anything else for sale
What you will find
- Reflections on Scripture centered on the gospel of grace
- Honest wrestling with what it means to live by faith
- Occasional humor, because grace produces joy
- A commitment to Soli Deo gloria — glory to God alone
The name Marc5Solas points to the five solas of the Reformation — sola scriptura, solus Christus, sola gratia, sola fide, and soli Deo gloria. These aren't abstract doctrines. They're the framework for everything posted here.
If you're tired of religious noise and want to hear the gospel again for the first time — or the hundredth — you're in the right place.
